Boldness: Living the Gospel
The truth of Jesus Christ often goes against the culture and beliefs of the people. It can take great courage to speak the truth of Christ to those who hate what He stands for.
Sometimes, following Jesus means facing persecution and dangers to proclaim who He is. Please ask God to give courage to those who minister for His name's sake.
Php 1:20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
Lord, You are enthroned above the heavens. You have the name that is higher than any other name, and someday, every knee will bow and every tongue confess, that You alone are Lord.
I ask that You would bless Big Sepik of Papua New Guinea
today with the courage to live out their convictions with all of their hearts. Stir up a boldness within them that will enable them to do what is right in spite of their neighbors' opinions. I bind the spirit of intimidation that would hinder Big Sepik of Papua New Guinea
from walking boldly with their God. Let Your name be exalted through their lives today, and may many be drawn to You through their lives.
