The truth of Jesus Christ often goes against the culture and beliefs of the people. It can take great courage to speak the truth of Christ to those who hate what He stands for.
Sometimes, following Jesus means facing persecution and dangers to proclaim who He is. Please ask God to give courage to those who minister for His name's sake.

Lord, You are enthroned above the heavens. You have the name that is higher than any other name, and someday, every knee will bow and every tongue confess, that You alone are Lord.
I ask that You would bless Mang of Vietnam today with the courage to live out his convictions with all of his heart. Stir up a boldness within him that will enable him to do what is right in spite of his neighbors' opinions. I bind the spirit of intimidation that would hinder Mang of Vietnam from walking boldly with his God. Let Your name be exalted through his life today, and may many be drawn to You through his life.
